17 years’ sector, Underwriting and Manager experience – Specialising in working with and improving the performance of teams who are failing to reach their full potential and delivering targets and results.(20 years Financial Services Experience)· Head of Underwriting and Divisional Management roles held for 6 years, but have managed teams for 14 years. Managed an entire underwriting and completion unit comprising 5 teams and over 45 members of staff who managed Large Complex BTL, Commercial and Bridging loans.· Supported a Managing Director in setting up a new Bridging Lender. Established an entire Underwriting, Post-completion management and BDM function process and procedures for an established bridging lender.· Held a personal Mandate in all Unregulated BTL & Commercial Term and Bridging Lending up to £2.5m and underwrote loans with a joint mandate up to £30m· Currently hold a Mandate up to £2m in Bridging and Development Finance facilities, whilst managing the end to end process of a £30m Loan book.· Underwrote and personally Sanctioned over £500m in loans. Supported the Sanction of and managed the origination of over £800m bridging loans and £1bn Term Loans.· Sound knowledge of Asset finance and structured finance facilities alongside longstanding real estate lending history.Qualified Level 3 Business Banking and Conduct exams in 2017 along with various industry related qualifications in over 20 years in banking.I previously spent 11 years working for Coutts and RBS in various underwriting and Team Management roles which included Daily Excess Management and underwriting multiple financial products including personal Loans, Mortgages and specialist trading facilities.I am passionate a commercially orientated underwriter Manager who aspires to enhance my own knowledge and share and develop the skills of my colleagues.
