Progressive Finance & Accounting experience, both in-house (Rocket Lab, ABL, & Bird) and in public accounting (Deloitte), with a significant focus on project management, business-partnering, team development, and process improvement.ABL: Oversaw the cover to cover controllership process, including order to cash, procure to pay, payroll, inventory (including cost accounting), fixed assets (including ground systems), and treasury. Relevant systems include Intacct, Bill.com, FloQast, UKG, Shareworks, Guideline, and Fidelity (managed implementation). Technical accounting focuses include SBC, debt-equity, 842, and 606. Bird: Created sustainable financial reporting processes (including Forms S-4, 10-Q, 10-K, and 8-K), researched, recorded, and documented complex technical accounting transactions (including Bird\'s 2022 IPO, equity/SBC transactions, and debt transactions), optimized month-end and quarter-end close processes and controls, and managed first-year and ongoing annual audits and quarterly reviews. Relevant systems include NetSuite, FloQast, Workiva (managed implementation), Carta, and E*Trade (managed implementation). Deloitte: Managed teams (and budgets) across multiple industries, including technology, start-ups/emerging growth companies, and retail/consumer products. Responsible for managing multiple engagements and taking ownership of US GAAP audits performed in accordance with PCAOB and AICPA standards. Relevant clients include Magnite, Camping World, The Black Tux, Headspace, and Latham & Watkins.
