About Nick Galante
I build commercial organizations that don\'t yet exist, and scale ones that do.Over 20 years I\'ve led complex commercial challenges in healthcare diagnostics: building national sales enablement functions from scratch, negotiating enterprise agreements valued at $750M+, managing $700M+ strategic account portfolios, and leading 40-person commercial organizations through rapid growth, acquisition integration, and market expansion. What energizes me most isn\'t maintaining what\'s already working. The work I\'m drawn to is walking into ambiguity, a new team to build, a commercial function that needs a foundation, a market that hasn\'t been fully unlocked, and creating the structure, talent, and strategy that drives results. At Antech Diagnostics, four promotions in three years meant four mandates to build something new. I stood up the national sales enablement infrastructure from scratch, led cross-functional integration workstreams through the Heska acquisition, and ultimately took ownership of a $700M+ strategic accounts portfolio across North America. At IDEXX Laboratories, I negotiated four exclusive enterprise agreements representing $750M+ in projected revenue. These were complex, multi-year deals requiring C-suite engagement, cross-functional alignment, and the ability to hold firm on value in high-stakes environments. The common thread across every role: I was brought in to build, scale, or transform, and I left each function stronger than I found it.The best commercial leaders are architects first and operators second. Strategy without execution is theory. Execution without strategy is noise. The leaders who create the most durable value hold both, seeing the structure that needs to exist, building the team to deliver it, and staying close enough to know when something isn\'t right.Companies in post-merger integration, high-growth stages, market expansion, or commercial transformation are where I do my best work, where building the right commercial infrastructure is the difference between good and exceptional. Industry is secondary. The situation is what matters. If you\'re working on something like that, or know someone who is, I\'d welcome the conversation.
