ABOUT NICK CZINCILA
Hi I’m Nick Czincila! I am a Mechanical Engineering student at the Florida Institute of Technology, maintaining a GPA of 3.5. So far I have a solid foundation in engineering principles, supported by coursework in Partial Differential Equations, Mechanics of Materials, Solids Modeling, Software Design (C++), and control systems. I am also proficient the Microsoft Office Suite, Creo Parametric, and MATLAB, and I hold CPR/AED certifications. In addition to these technical skills, I am an accomplished musician and bilingual in English and Spanish. My practical experience is shown through my time at GE Vernova Hitachi where I developed report templates, developed AFT Fathom & Arrow models, as well as compressible flow simulations, PFCs, P & IDs, and PFDs. I also interned at Constellation Nuclear Energy, where I worked on revising thermal vent flow rate calculations, designing flange guard installations, and analyzing outage timelines. I have also demonstrated leadership as the Vice President/Secretary of Lambda Chi Alpha - Beta Nu Zeta, organizing events and managing member responsibilities. I am an Eagle Scout and my project highlights my organizational and leadership skills, having led a team to assemble and deliver healthcare kits to my local department of health during the pandemic. My achievements include the consistent Deans List, the Presidential Award for Academic Excellence, and the Philadelphia Good Citizenship Award.
