An inspirational leader with a proven track record of delivering results in challenging, highly regulated UK and international roles within the aviation sector; including 6 years at Heathrow Airport and 10 years international experience. Successfully led and motivated the team at Heathrow’s Terminal 5, post opening disaster in September 2008 culminating in winning the ‘World’s Best Airport Terminal’ award. Led the team to design the strategy and plan to deliver the Heathrow 2012 Olympic Games Programme, during which time Heathrow achieved record customer service scores. Currently CEO of daa International, an international advisory, airport management and investment company, which is currently operates Red Sea International and Jeddah Airports. Since leading Jeddah Airport, passenger numbers have grown from 32 to 50mppa, services scores have improved from 29th to 6th in comparator group and commercial revenues have tripled. Appointed as an International Olympic Committee Advisor on airport capacity for sporting events as a result of the hugely successful London 2012 Games arrivals and departures experience. To date, have advised on Rio 2016, PyeongChang 2018, Doha 2022 (FIFA World Cup) and the Paris 2024 Games. Appointed to the Board of Aer Rianta, a global travel retail company, in January 2024. Appointed to the Board of Wilson James, a Security, Construction Logistics and Aviation company in June 2024.
