My main focus is on assisting entrepreneurs\', management teams, owner-managed businesses and private equity with a variety of personal tax matters in relation to the growth and ultimate exit of their business (or portfolio companies). Specialist areas include implementation of EMI/growth share plans, tax structuring to secure capital gains tax treatment and tax free reinvestment as part of an M&A or IPO, dealing with complex issues concerning employment related securities, securing entrepreneurs’ relief and share scheme due diligence. Also manager on a portfolio of private clients, including high net worth individuals and entrepreneurs.
