My Role as SVO Senior Launch Manager is key to ensuring robust launches for all SVO products built across all JLR manufacturing sites. The role covers leadership of cross functional teams to ensure build readiness and alignment across programme gateways. My team are responsible for all launch activity from strategic planning, virtual builds, Prototype builds through to day to day activity on the build line at Tooling tryout though to Mass production. My team encompasses Trim and Final AME, Paint AME, Trim and Final Launch and Paint Launch and we have a holistic approach for each vehicle launch to deliver World class products for SVO.

ABOUT NICK BURDETT
I am an experienced Launch Manager with over 30 years within the Automotive industry. I am driven and passionate about everything I do and have a proven track record in delivery. Qualified to Masters level in Engineering Business Management, I have extensive Programme Management experience having delivered projects from programme start through to Job 1 / Launch team exit. I have worked at Jaguar Land Rover for over 20 years, working initially in Chassis Engineering and progressing via TVM and Project Management into New Model Launch Management. I have managed cross functional teams supporting launches at the Castle Bromwich and Solihull manufacturing facilities since 2008. From the end of 2016 I have been working for the SVO division of JLR, establishing the Ground up build Manufacturing team at the Ryton Oxford Road facility to support delivery of among others, Range Rover Armoured programmes, Jaguar XE Project 8, Range Rover SVA and SVAD, Land Rover Discovery Commercial and Premium Paint Pallet programmes for multiple car lines.
