A Dispensing Optician, with Low Vision and Contact Lens special interests at BBR Optometry, a specialist independent practice in Hereford.Director since 2005 and Shareholder since January 2008I am actively involved in the day to day running of the practice, seeing patients in a \'front of house\' capacity, while also managing stock levels of frames and sunglasses as the interface with suppliers.I undertake regular Low Vision clinics as part of a community based PCT funded scheme within the practice.I am a member of the UK Vision Strategy England Implementation Group, and we meet periodically in London to discuss and develop ways to enhance the services / provision for Low Vision users and introduce strategies to reduce the unnecessary sight loss in England.
