Proactive Senior Advisor @Severn Trent

Made the switch to Chief Engineer to move into Severn Trents asset care team as proactive senior advisor. This role includes supporting customer operations and planning department reviewing the whole life care and performance of a huge variety of assets with various needs, risks and challenges to ensure the most suitable and cost effective care is applied and delivered to the right equipment. Utilising OEE tools our team supports and conducts root cause analysis investiagtions, failure mode effect and criticality analysis, REM to influence company, direction, strategy and standards. We report on asset health & performance, maintenance performance & effect on revenue and work closely with our operations & maintenance teams to deliver training and equipment for new technologies that support reliability useing innovation and best available technologies for condition based monitoring such as tribology (Oil analysis), Shock pulse & vibration monitoring, Electrical signature analysis, thermography etc. We are also accountable for ensuring plans and tasks are loaded into our CMMS and periodically reviewed.
