With AWOS, our proprietary software, we provide detailed drilling system analysis that has increased ROP by up to 80% and reduced cost per foot drilled by over 40%. ABOUT NICK BIGGS
I am the co-owner and Drilling Optimisation Specialist at Aurora. My responsibilities include drilling operations, business administration and customer projects at Aurora. I spent 22+ years with Baker Hughes, working in several locations such as Oman, UK, US and Canada. Specialising in onshore and offshore drilling performance in previous roles, My focus has been on the output of the complete drilling system, specific fixed cutter products, application engineering and analysis for better drilling performance. Favourite project so far, has to be the Cygnus development for Ithaca Energy in the UK SNS. The project showcases Aurora\'s blank canvas approach as being accurate and effective in delivering top-quartile drilling performance.
