Through a family of 28 unified Chapters, the Vermont Mountain Bike Association - VMBA - carries out its mission, which is to ensure the sustainable future of mountain biking in Vermont and to thoughtfully promote the best riding in the Northeast. A 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, VMBA serves as the state\'s central hub for mountain bike advocacy, education and event support, linking together the perspectives of individual riders through to the Association\'s work with state leadership through our Chapters model. With over 9,400 members, VMBA is a cornerstone of Vermont’s outdoor community, advocating for public land access, private landowner protections, modernized policy, and sustainably constructed trails.
