Nick is a public law and human rights lawyer. A lot of his work concerns immigration, prisoners, discrimination, and education. Recent cases of note including acting for the family of Jack Merritt in the Fishmongers Hall attack inquest, and for one of the victims teams in the Brook House Inquiry. Nick also does a lot of business immigration work (especially around sponsor licence issues),and education work where he acts for parents, schools and authorities in a variety of cases. Nick is on the Equality and Human Rights Commission A panel. He was the human rights and public law junior of the year in the 2019 Chambers and Partners Bar Awards. He sits as an assistant coroner in West Sussex and Brighton and Hove. Nick is a former solicitor and prior to that, legal academic. He has a Ph.D in civil procedure.
