ABOUT NICK ANGELIS

Most of my patients have already tried everything when it comes to their mental health.They\'ve been through the medications, the referrals, the \"let\'s try adjusting your dose again.\" They come to me not as a first resort, but typically, as a last resort. I started Ascend in 2019 with one belief: that the goal of medicine should be to help people need us less, not more.My background is in anesthesia. I\'ve administered ketamine in trauma hospitals, functional medicine clinics, and plastic surgery centers. I\'ve now completed over treatments. What I\'ve learned is that healing isn\'t one-size-fits-all, and neither is the person in front of you.At Ascend, we treat depression, anxiety, PTSD, OCD, chronic pain, and more — using Ketamine Infusion Therapy, SPRAVATO® (one of the first certified clinics in Ohio), TMS, comprehensive psychiatry, and counseling. In 2023, 98.9% of our new patients reported measurable improvement.We don\'t keep people in the system longer than they need to be.
