About Nichole Vencl
Once upon a time, I was told I could do anything I wanted to. I decided I wanted to get rid of all horrible diseases and ailments of the world. In time, I learned everyone has fortes, but science was not mine. I favored key skills which unlocked the realm of Human Resources. I can’t enlist in wars against illnesses or epidemics, but I can find the right people for the battle, and find others to aide on the recovery road. As a Cleveland native, I know the 3 main pleasantries we have to offer: sports, theatre, and healthcare. Starting my journey in baseball, I obtained skills in communication and teamwork. I transformed skills into talents when becoming a freelancing theatre technician and stage manager in the country’s second-largest theatre district. I gained management skills when recruiting/training volunteers. I chose Cleveland’s Notre Dame College to learn my craft. My liberal-arts education polished my skills, leading me to work at Cleveland Clinic. Here I found people advocating the power one person can have on others as much as me. I had the opportunity to become a subject matter expert in sourcing and finding the right career paths for hundreds of healthcare workers. When not recruiting, I enjoy traveling, deep plays, shallow comedies, rock musicals, Cleveland sports, and devising elaborate metaphors usually involving food.
