ABOUT NICHOLAS WINTHER
As Finance Director of Rugby School, Bilton Grange and the whole group, I am responsible for the financial management of the schools and associated entities. Prior to this role, I was the Bursar of Bilton Grange Preparatory School and supported the Governors of the school as Clerk, in particular guiding Bilton Grange through to a successful merger with Rugby School. I started my professional time in Education serving as the Bursar and Clerk to the Governors at Dover College.Before moving into education, I spent nearly twenty years working in the City raising capital from across the capital markets. I was responsible for origination, structuring and execution with an Emerging Markets focus (in particular Turkey, Asia and Africa). This included loan syndications, project financing and bond market issuance for sovereigns, institutions and corporates.In parallel I have many years of experience as a director/trustee of a number of charities and I am currently the Treasurer of Crosslinks, a registered charity.
