Joined this award-winning U.S./Canadian independent studio recognized for its team-based First-Person Shooter (FPS) games across PC, Xbox, and PlayStation platforms. Initially brought on for my versatility and cross-disciplinary skill set, I quickly became a “Swiss Army knife” for the company, helping shape systems and infrastructure across multiple departments including Player Support, Quality Assurance, Communications, and now Finance and Business Operations.I founded and scaled the Player Support Department from scratch, designing the workflow architecture, documentation standards, and tool integrations that became the studio’s live-ops backbone. I later developed and formalized the Quality Assurance process, improving build reliability, reporting transparency, and collaboration between development and production teams.As Communications Director, I oversaw all player-facing content strategy, launch campaigns, and partner relations, translating technical milestones into engaging narratives that built trust and retention within the player community.Over time, my role evolved into Finance and Business Operations, where I now oversee the studio’s financial planning, forecasting, and reporting. I manage quarterly and annual budgets, perform detailed P&L analysis, coordinate publisher milestone payments, and ensure compliance with both internal and external financial controls. I also lead the integration of financial data systems into production workflows, aligning revenue analytics, cost tracking, and forecasting models directly with project performance metrics.In parallel, I continue to lead select technical backend initiatives supporting both the studio’s game development and live services. This includes architecting and maintaining backend pipelines for automated content updates, analytics dashboards, and web systems that deliver in-game news and highlights in real time.
