Creating something from nothing has been a joy for me for as long as I can remember, and that passion seamlessly carried over to my career as a website developer.    Shortly after being hired, I quickly completed my first, assigned Gorman Rupp website while simultaneously learning their preferred PHP framework, CakePHP- My websites, which act as internal tools, increase the team’s performance by collecting, updating, and analyzing the necessary sales data in order to securely share the appropriate information with the applicable users- My frequent, thorough discussions with the appropriate leadership have ensured that the company gets the websites that it needs- As the only IT member that is attached to the Sales & Marketing team, I often act as an independent, full-stack developer that must manage everything, ranging from UI to frontend code to backend code to database creation/management- I became responsible for self-teaching and practicing the skill of integrating AI (via ChatGPT), vector database queries (via Pinecone), and File Storage (via OpenAI) within a PHP-based website.
