I carry out communications, media, protest and international law research and analysis, writing on law and policy, and management for projects about international expression issues.Day-to-day, this involves conducting primary and secondary research, drafting and editing of varied written outputs (articles, blogs, reports, legal and policy submissions, a forthcoming book), research design, horizon scanning, engaging with stakeholders, fundraising, assisting with advocacy on law/tech policy reform, working on/participating in conferences bringing together (tech) industry, civil society, academia, regulators, lawyers (e.g, in Stockholm, Nashville, Brussels, London, Amsterdam, Oxford).The Future of Free Speech is a nonpartisan, legal think tank, founded originally in Copenhagen (at Justitia), with a team based in the USA and Europe. Its HQ is now located at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN.
