The SJ/C Central Referral Office builds a bridge between a patient\'s primary care physician and specialists across the health system. Serving a network of over 40 primary care providers, 7 urgent care locations and their patients, the team works to obtain specialist appointments in a timely manner while keeping in mind current and downstream revenue impacts, physician preferences, and insurance parameters. As manager, I lead a team of clinical and nonclinical staff to ensure efficient processes and procedures allow continuity of care for patients and monitor opportunities to keep patient encounters within the system. Partnering with constituents across the region, I work to build the brand and reputation of St. Joseph\'s/Candler as the premier healthcare provider for Southeast GA and the South Carolina Lowcountry.
