Performed root cause analysis using Bentley CMMS data and in-field inspections, determining belt wear as the failure mode. Updated PM procedures from visual checks to caliper-based measurements, improving maintenance accuracy and belt life.Designed a 14-component mechanical hold-down system with modular subassemblies for seamless conveyor integration as a contingency solution. Collaborated with local tooling suppliers for design-for-manufacturability (DFM) quoting and partnered with an SMC representative to specify pneumatic actuators. Completed full system design, ready for immediate implementation if triggered.Designed and installed a Cardboard Collection Tray for the skin flip station to eliminate manual cleanup of scattered materials.
