About Nicholas Massoth

Nicholas is a determined, opportunistic, young individual. He maintains excellent levels of performance standards, as well as communication, and collaboration skills within team and individual settings. Currently, Nicholas is a QuickBooks ProAdvisor Certified with Online Level 2, Online Payroll, Desktop, and Desktop Enterprise designations. Nicholas has goals to work his way up \'the chains\' in the world of business in order to gain a Certified Public Accounting license, and his Certified Lease & Equipment Professional license as well as continuing to make a positive impact within manufacturing, or service organizations within the Phoenix, Arizona or Chicago, Illinois area. Nicholas\'s goals will allow him to demonstrate abilities that include, but are not limited to strong ambitions, a forceful work drive, and of course, enthusiastic attitude towards his workplace. Despite COVID-19 health concerns across the globe, Nicholas graduated in May of 2021 from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting and a minor in Analytics,(3.27 Cumulative GPA out of 4.00). During Nicholas\'s final semester, Nicholas achieved Dean\'s List status,(with a 4.00 semester GPA), for the first and only time in his undergraduate career in his final semester. This was Nicholas\'s third, consecutive semester achieving Honor Roll status.Today, Nicholas is a Staff Accountant at ECS Financial Services working as part of their Sales/Use Tax (SUT), and Engagement teams. On ECS\'s SUT team, Nicholas completes SUT, SUT license registrations, and renewals on a monthly basis utilizing programs such as Vertex Indirect Tax Returns. As a member of ECS\'s Engagement team, Nicholas helps complete various assurance tasks for his clients, including timeliness testing, control testing, and more. In addition, Nicholas completes a variety of other day-to-day activities including his biggest project at ECS of revising their Sales Tax Matrix, which is set to be available for clients in the near future to utilize when obtaining information about SUT, Personal Property Taxes (PPT), and more.

1. Brand Ambassador & Shop Dropper

   In an effort to get involved in Nicholas\' community in more positive ways, Nicholas decided to join the North Coast Music Festival (NCMF) team as a Brand Ambassador and Shop Dropper. NCMF is a full-service event promotion and production company focused on bringing unique and memorable concert experiences to fans and artist camps alike.As a Brand Ambassador and Shop Dropper, Nicholas has a part time role with NCMF to engage with the community by promoting Collectiv Presents events. This is done by engaging and responding with patrons in various Chicago suburbs about Collectiv events as he regularly puts up promotional posters & flyers for various Collectiv Presents music festivals & events. Nicholas often spends his time talking with patrons about their questions relating to NCMF and their music experiences, as well as his passion for electronic dance music Nicholas works year round in this role and plans to continue working in this role for the foreseeable future.
