ABOUT NICHOLAS LAWRENCE

I am a graduate of The University of Texas at Dallas, Naveen Jindal School of Management with a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology Systems as well as a professional MBA candidate. I have been able to use the knowledge I have gained both in educational and professional setting effectively to advance my career. I currently serve as a scrum master supporting two teams at Bank of America and I am learning everyday. Much of my time spent outside of work is spent working with volunteer organizations such as the North Texas Food Bank, CSEEDS, Habitat for Humanity and the Civil Air Patrol. In the Civil Air Patrol, I serve as the group two cadet (youth) programs officer and the Plano squadron commander. This has given me many experiences that most of my peers will not have had access to, such as planning large scale events that cost in the tens of thousands and overseeing development of 250+ resources. Serving on the technologies board for the city of The Colony, TX was also a great experience as I saw some of what went in to making city\'s and communities run. I hope to be able to keep working up in my career to gain more responsibility to be able to make a difference for the greatest number of people.
