ABOUT NICK CZARNEK
At Zauron Labs, all of our products and services are exclusively focused on enhancing radiology quality and safety via both our software (AI-enhanced Peer Review) and our team of radiologists (no-AI, contingency based manual reviews of exams to identify missed abnormalities). As Zauron\'s CSO and Co-Founder, I\'m responsible for commercial and business strategy, product design, algorithmic design of experiments, and client relations.Prior to Zauron Labs, I worked at DiaSorin Molecular and Luminex in several roles, primarily focused on R&D and Operations Program Management, in Cypress, California and as an expat in Milan, Italy. I oversaw the development and scale up of several IVD diagnostic assays, including DiaSorin’s COVID-19, COVID-19 and Flu A/B Combo, and Congenital Cytomegalovirus assays. I spearheaded government contract management for DiaSorin’s COVID related EUAs.I also served as a Consultant at the Boston Consulting Group in Atlanta, where I worked in various industries, including logistics, restaurants, automotive, and oil & gas. I earned my PhD and Master of Science in Electrical & Computer Engineering from Duke University as an NSF Graduate Research Fellow, where I focused on image processing and algorithm development for MRI analyses of glioblastoma and low-grade glioma brain tumors and landmine detection with seismo-acoustic vibrometry sensors. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Electrical & Computer Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh.
