Currently working as a software engineer in the e-commerce space solving issues related to improving the add-to-cart rate and cart-to-purchase conversion rate.As an experienced software developer, I\'m comfortable across the entire development lifecycle, from knowledge gathering to designing, building, and deploying well-tested and maintainable code. I\'ve gained a deep understanding and appreciation for both the B2B and B2C domains. Career highlights include- Being one of two primary developers that designed, built, and deployed a B2B application from scratch to production with our first client within 6 months. Clients included Fortune 500 companies, Government institutions, and top U.S. universities- Lead developer for an ETL pipeline hosted on AWS. Managed data transformations from raw input data to redacted data to be used for machine learning models. Cleaned up issues with data inputs and outputs, identified missed data points for redaction and modified/built AWS Glue Jobs and Lambda functions to target those data points, analyzed (using AWS Athena) database records to ensure the pipeline had caught all edge cases for redaction- Developing an internal CRM tool for employee and project management in 7 months that improved project management efficiency and employee engagement by 20%. The frontend was built using ReactJS with the backend built using Rails- Being the face of the development team as lead developer to clarify unclear action items, troubleshoot technical bugs, and provide suggestions/solutions/clarification on software issues for non-technical members of my t••••••••@gmail.com || Github: DataNick
