Apriligen\'s lead candidate, APR-2020, has been granted Orphan Drug and Rare Pediatric Disease designations by the FDA and EMA and is intended to cure one variant of an ultra-rare bone marrow failure syndrome called Diamond Blackfan Anemia. Based on positive pre-clinical results, Apriligen expects to initiate a pivotal Phase I/II clinical trial for APR-2020 soon.
