Key Responsibilities• Oversaw and project managed the refurbishment 2040 capacity venue and sourced all contractors that were used to fulfil the venues refurbishment plans.• Sourced all contractors for the venue opening, ie cleaners, security, DJs, event promoters etc.• Interviewing and recruiting a full new team for the opening of the venue, including assistant managers, supervisors, sales manager and bartenders. Along with sourcing a security team to support on busy nights.• Prepared for and executed new bar menu implementations.• Implemented health and safety, first aid, hygiene and fire safety knowledge.• Skilfully interacted with external vendors to obtain the best quality in pricing and product.• Ensuring HR compliance by following procedures for promotions, disciplinaries ad staff records.• Strategically developed effective marketing plans to increase sales and profits whilst managing costs.• Overseeing schedule allocation and rotas for all staff, ensuring bar is fully manned at all times.• Responsible for entire operation of bar / nightclub.• Interacted positively with customers while promoting venue facilities and services.• Recognised and formally acknowledged outstanding staff performances to boost company morale and productivity.• Running regular stock takes and overseeing inventory management for the team.• Creating promotional initiatives including drinks offers and special events.• Promoting and informing clients of any special deals and recommending beverages.
