About Nicholas Speers
Nick is an experienced finance professional, with over 15 years of experience in the field. During his career, Nick has helped companies with Financial Statement Audits, Sarbanes Oxley program design and testing, internal audit planning and execution, strategic transaction support (including mergers, IPOs and debt offerings), and technical accounting support. Nick’s experience in both public accounting and as an industry finance executive allows him to understand both sides of the issues facing companies and their auditors and provide practical, timely and relevant advice. Prior to joining Corcentric, Nick spent 10 years in public accounting with KPMG and PwC, rising to the position of senior manager. During his time there, he serviced a wide range of publicly and privately held clients in the chemical manufacturing, construction, retail and professional service industries. Representative clients include FMC Corporation, Urban Outfitters, Safeguard Scientifics, Duane Morris LLP, and Merck KGaA.Nick has also served as the Director of Financial reporting at Pinnacle Foods Group where, he managed the SEC reporting and accounts payable functions and participated in various private placement debt offerings and the Company’s IPO.Nick is a certified public accountant in the state of Pennsylvania and is also accredited in business valuation (ABV) by the AICPA. Nick also enjoys giving back to his local community, by volunteering as a youth soccer coach in Riverton, NJ, where he lives with his wife and children.
