About Nicholas Sioufas

I am the Sustainability Coordinator for the City of New Rochelle. I serve in the City\'s Development Department. I previously worked at the New York State Department of Agriculture and Markets\' Counsel\'s Office in Albany as an Excelsior Service Fellow. May 2019, I graduated from the Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University, where I earned an Advanced Certificate in Environmental Law. At Pace: I participated in the Pace Environmental Litigation Clinic and the Food and Farm Law Clinic; I helped start a campus garden; and I advocated for biodiversity and the rights of peasants as part of the Center for Environmental Legal Studies IUCN World Conservation Congress 2020/2021 team. I earned a B.S. in Environmental and Natural Resource Economics with a concentration in Sustainable Development, & B.S. in Food and Agribusiness Marketing and Management from the University of Delaware. I am an Eagle Scout and a lifelong hockey player. July 2020, I was admitted to the NYS Bar.
