About Nicholas Ruscello
I am a Senior Vice President at Northcreek Mezzanine, primarily responsible for portfolio management and assisting new deal execution, underwriting, and investor reporting. Previously, I spent two (2) years in the Macy’s Finance Executive Development Program. I am also an Adjunct Professor of the MS Finance Capstone class at the University of Cincinnati.I previously graduated from the Master\'s of Science (MS) in Finance program at the Carl H. Lindner College of Business at the University of Cincinnati with a 4.0/4.0 GPA. I graduated Undergrad in 3 years with a Finance major at UC in August 2017 with a 4.0/4.0 GPA with Flag Bearer and Summa Cum Laude Honors. I passed the CFA Level I exam in June 2019 after studying for over 320 hours and paying for the exam on my own expense. I am now eligible to register/sit for the CFA Level II exam. I was a research analyst for the CFA Research Challenge in 20••••18 and attended the Local Finals presentation.At Macy\'s, I rotated through areas such as Capital Planning (Major Projects), Tax, Financial Planning, Economics & Forecasting, and Inventory/Retail Gross Margin Accounting. In this development program, we rotated through different areas and attained up to 2 years worth of experience for every 6 month rotation. As a result, I have was able to quickly add value to every department I rotated through. I was a co-lead of the Macy\'s Corporate Services Young Professional ERG, ATLAS.My analytical skills include MS Excel, SAS, SQL, and R/RStudio with an eagerness to learn more such as Tableau. I take pride in being almost completely mouse-less in Excel. I also have experience with software such as OneStream, SmartView, Mainframe, etc.
