ABOUT NICHOLAS PETRUZZIELLO
I am a current student at The George Washington University Law school. Upon graduation in 2025, I plan on beginning a career in corporate law. After interning for law firms DLA Piper and Lopez McHugh, I have learned much about the legal profession while also gaining many general skills necessary to succeed in the work environment. From those internships I have become highly experienced working with corporate software and databases, communicating with clients, gathering research to prepare for reports, and collaborating with other employees on research projects. In addition to my interest in corporate law, I am also a high achieving economics major and former student-athlete. While excelling in my economics classes and also working as a TA for microeconomics, I was also a captain of the University of Rochester football team, where I learned valuable skills in terms of leadership, time management, and problem solving when faced with adversity. After spending many hours working on being a better leader, athlete, and student, I was awarded with Academic All-American honors, which is an award given to a select number of college football players across the county in recognition for their outstanding work athletically and academically.
