About Nicholas Mohrdieck

I am currently obtaining a Master of Public Health degree from the University of North Carolina, with a concentration in Leadership in Practice. I hope to utilize this degree to lead actionable initiatives and programs within an industry leading pharmaceutical company to address current and future health issues that face our society. I currently work as a medical reporting curator at Foundation Medicine, where I collaborate on an extensive team to produce reports that help physicians and patients understand the mutations driving their cancer, and attempt to guide treatment decisions based on targeted therapy and immunotherapy. I have extensive experience as a clinical research coordinator working on early phase oncology clinical trials, where I specialized in hematology. I gained invaluable experience working in a care setting that focuses on monitoring patients through ground-breaking, first-in-human cancer clinical trials. I graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Genetics and Genomics. I devoted 20 hours per week as a student-athlete on the Wisconsin Men’s Rowing team. I also worked as an undergraduate research assistant for a pediatric oncologist. My specific research involved developing an immune, co-stimulatory vaccine for T-cells and NK cells against neuroblastoma.
