About Nicholas McMillen

It all began in 2015 when I started as a Bellman at the Hilton Portland and Executive Tower (now Hilton Portland Downtown and The Duniway. A Hilton Hotel). From there, my tenacity and hard work allowed me the opportunity to learn and grow in various roles in the front office. By March of 2020, I was the acting Director of Front Office when we had to temporarily close our doors due to the COVID-19 pandemic. During this time I was offered a position with Provenance hotels where I was tasked with rebuilding the guest services teams and reopening Sentinel and Woodlark hotels. In my short time with Provenance hotels we were able to implement a strong service culture that quickly moved each luxury-boutique hotel from #21 and #37 all the way up to #8 and #6 in the city of Portland’s Trip advisor rankings. After just shy of one year with Provenance hotels, I was fortunate enough to return to the Hilton family as the Director of Front Office at the Doubletree by Hilton Spokane City Center. Now I am overseeing day to day operations with the best team in the business. I look forward to continuing to develop as a hospitality professional absorbing as much knowledge and experience as possible.
