About Nicholas Knoke

I am currently a Site Safety Manager for Pieper Electric. Since April, I have been focusing more on electrical hazards and mitigating these to limit exposure to our electricians. We work on sites ranging from commercial construction, residential construction, electrical service work, HVAC and plumbing. For the last year I have been managing the site safety program for a large data center project in Kenosha, WI where I have learned much about leadership principles, clear communication and integrity. I hope to continue in this role in the future and better myself as a safety professionalBefore that, I was an engineer for Mortenson Construction. For the first 2 years out of college I traveled around the country and worked on some of the largest solar projects in the country. I gained hands on experience in the solar construction industry while also getting to see different parts of the country and work with a diverse group of people. This constant evolution is challenging, but also rewarding and I am always trying to broaden my horizons.My degree is Occupational Safety and Health BS from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. I learned a lot from my time in this safety program and it gave me the tools I use every day to become a successful young professional.
