   Engineered a Kafka Cluster monitoring tool that queries key Kafka metrics that correlate to the health of the cluster from a port connection with a Prometheus instance and displays those metrics on a user interface that lets the user easily access these key metrics and configured built-in actionable alerts so if any issues arise within the Kafka Cluster so developers can reduce latency with minimal cluster downtime- Implemented Redux to control state management across an extensively connected application mapping state to numerous components to allow immediate access to state functionality without additional bloat and ensuring unidirectional flow- Implemented React to build out modularized and reusable components and React Hooks to speed up development cycle time and keep the code base uniform.Employed PromQL to make multiple asynchronous queries to our installed instance of prometheus allowing quick and efficient access to data scraped from our Kafka cluster, optimizing dev time- Working with Agile workflow and Scrum Master responsibilities led stand-ups to delegate tasks, networked with engineers that worked with Kafka and ensured that all team members had the resources and support they needed- Utilized Electron’s architecture to produce a React/Node/Chromium application that deploys to Mac/Window/Linux while also taking advantage of its performance, security, automatic update functionality and development tools- Incorporated Material UI components that were dynamically rendered with statistics and contained graphs that used the metrics of the Brokers, Consumers and Producers that have been queried from the connected Kafka Cluster- Product developed under tech accelerator OS Labs (opensourcelabs.io)
