About Nicholas Griffin

Current public health professional passionate about maximizing the health of all people and advancing health equity.I am a graduate of VCU\'s College of Humanities and Sciences, with a B.S. in Biology and a minor in Chemistry. I am also a recent graduate of the Master of Public Health with a concentration in Applied Public Health program at the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Public Health.My research interests and experience include youth violence prevention, public health genomics, and molecular epidemiology. I work experience in all of these fields through my internships, research work, and relevant coursework including EPID 694: MPH Capstone Project.I am motivated and dedicated to working hard, and I also believe that taking the time to have fun is just as important as working hard. Being able to attend VCU makes me feel grateful to have the opportunity to pursue a challenging career in medicine/public health. I also love giving back to the community and simply having the opportunity to serve.
