The Research team produces insight reports and white papers that demonstrate the economic impact of NYC’s tourism industry, profile visitors and key segments, and track and forecast visitor volume from dozens of different origin markets and niche segments •Regular reports pinpoint citywide hotel performance, new developments and attractions, and other economic indicators •The Research Unit also conducts extensive proprietary market research studies to deliver a suite of economic, market and insight studies to support strategic and tactical planning •The Travel Research Analyst occupies a varied and challenging position responsible for syndicated data analysis and reporting to monitor trends in the travel and tourism industry segments and destination visitor behavior •Managing qualitative and quantitative initiatives as well as the ability to create interesting and useful reports linked to the goal of communicating to NYC & Company’s many internal and external audiences the positive image and benefits of tourism and convention development for NYC •Coordinate day-to-day implementation of data and research-based projects
