About Nicholas Dunbar

In 2019 I graduated from the University of Houston with a bachelors degree in Petroleum Engineering. I earned the Outstanding Senior in Petroleum Engineering award as well as the Cullen College of Engineering‘s Outstanding Leadership award. Upon graduation I joined Schlumberger as a Drilling Fluids Engineer in their MI-SWACO division in Abu Dhabi, UAE. While in Abu Dhabi I gained experience in both onshore and offshore operations. I was let go from Schlumberger during the COVID-19 pandemic and returned to the United States. I joined SilverBow Resources in 2021 as a Lease Operator/Pumper. In this role, I was the Lead Lease Operator over 4 facilities in Cotulla, Tx. I was promoted to a Production Engineer.
