   Nephros, Inc, headquartered in South Orange, NJ, Nephros is a global medical device company that focuses on the development and commercialization of liquid purification filters that combine a best in class purification to flow rate ratio with filter endurance. The Dual Stage Ultrafilter (DSU) is the basis for the Nephros line of water filtration products, which includes the DSU and SSU in-line ultrafilters. The patented dual stage ultrafilter has the capability to filter out bacteria and, due to its exceptional filtration levels, filter out many viruses, parasites and biotoxins. The DSU-H and SSU-H Ultrafilters along with the S100 Point of Use filters are FDA 510k Cleared for Hospital Water Filtration to aid in Infection Control. The Ultrafilters are intended to be used to filter EPA quality drinking water. The filters retain bacteria, By providing ultrapure water for patient washing and drinking, the filters aid in infection control. The filters also produce water that is suitable for cleaning of equipment used in medical procedures and washing of surgeon\'s hands. The filters are not intended to provide water that can be used as a substitute for USP sterile water. The Nephros Hydraguard \"C\" and \"F\" series ultra-filters are FDA Cleared (bacteria & virus) to aid in infection control. These canister style filters are available in 10-20\" models to offer our clients higher volume throughput. The Nephros NanoGuard D, S, E&F series in-line filters trap particulate down to 5nm for washing and drinking purposes in commercial applications. Our \"IWP\" Individual Water Purification devices were developed for the U.S. Marine Corps for purification of drinking water by soldiers in the field and will be commercialized for the recreational and outdoor market by CamelBak \"M.A.P.S\". Our advanced 5nm (.005 micron) hollow fiber membrane is a scalable technology capable of delivering value in the life science, vivaria and biopharmaceutical environments.
