Manage aftersales parts distribution in Western Canada. Managing the Vancouver & Edmonton Parts Distribution Centre’s. Leading the PDC teams in the development & maintenance of a safety culture that has gone ten plus years with no lost work days. This was accomplished by strategizing with the teams to develop a culture that embraces safety, recognizes hazards, and takes immediate action to minimize risk. Responsible for leading and championing GM’s corporate culture in Edmonton and Vancouver, creating a positive and cohesive culture that is reflective of GM’s Values. Responsible for a broad range of duties including but not limited to safety, quality, risk management, human resources, budgets, allocation of capital, and general management. Embracing lean warehousing processes has resulted in the Edmonton PDC receiving the highest calibration score for any of GM’s North American warehouse facilities on both occasions that the PDC was audited. The attainment of Safety; CSI; Quality; Responsiveness to customer service & Cost metrics combine to make the Edmonton and Vancouver PDC’s two of the low cost, high quality facilities in GM’s Customer Care & Aftersales Distribution network. The teams have received many awards in recognition of their achievements.
