As a teacher and coach, it is my duty to help enrich the lives of the students that I am responsible for or anyone else that I come in contact with. I accomplish this by maintaining professionalism in the classroom and around the school with my fellow administrators and teachers. I utilize the characteristics that I have received and learned in my previous work experiences to help those that need answers to questions or just seeking advice. As a teacher, there are many techniques and procedures that need to be followed that I have learned from staff development workshops, other staff members and my fellow administrators. Such examples are: following the proper TEKS model, the teaching model SIOP, a scope and sequence preparation plan all while connecting the content taught to the students correctly, following other academic principles such as grading policies, grading verification, at-risk students, programs like AESOP and Eduphoria, parent/guardian contact, and coaching strategies for the classroom and the playing field.
