About Nicholas Badders
Currently, I am the Broadcast and Media Relations Manager for the Omaha Storm Chasers, Triple-A affiliate of the Kansas City Royals. 2023 was my 7th season broadcasting professional baseball and third in the Kansas City Royals organization. In September 2023, I had the chance to provide fill-in play-by-play for the Kansas City Royals, after two seasons of calling games for the Royals\' Double-A affiliate in Northwest Arkansas, as well as in Kansas City\'s Triple-A Omaha affiliate this past season.I previously spent two seasons in the Australian Baseball League with the Melbourne Aces have called games for both the Arkansas Razorbacks (Razorbacks Sports Network from Learfield and SEC Network +) and the Creighton Bluejays (BIG EAST Digital Network).A graduate of Arizona State\'s Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication, I was an award-winning sports broadcaster and photographer as a student. I began working in professional baseball while still in school, spending summers as the voice of the Elizabethton Twins (Minnesota Twins Advanced Rookie Affiliate) and Sonoma Stompers (Independent Pacific Association).
