I pride myself in advising companies to ensure compliance with the law, but my true passion is representing those companies in litigation when their best efforts fail and a lawsuit is filed.I represent clients in a variety of sectors, from insurance agencies to big box retail stores, to hotel chains, to rehabilitation centers, including companies represented on the Fortune 500. In my 12 years as a litigator, I’ve developed expertise in the healthcare space, representing some of the largest healthcare providers in the nation. I obtained my bachelor’s degree in Microbiology and Cell Science from the University of Florida, spending countless clinical hours in the healthcare setting. My experience and understanding of the healthcare landscape from both a clinical and operational standpoint allows me to represent these clients in a way that other attorneys simply cannot. I am an aggressive defense litigator with a track record of success. I’ve represented clients in matters involving nearly every facet of employment law, including claims under the ADA, ADEA, FMLA, FLSA, Title VII, and other federal and state laws. Over the years, I have developed a specialization in representing clients in complex class and FLSA collective actions, as well as litigation involving the enforcement of non-compete covenants and the misappropriation of clients’ confidential trade secrets—recovering millions of dollars for our clients in the process.
