About Nichelle Dickinson
I have 18 years of experience managing various technician trades that include conventional and nuclear Navy ratings, warehouse maintenance personnel, CMMS engineers, program managers, and data center power and cooling technicians. I have 10 years of experience managing managers. I currently lead teams of software and systems development engineers, data and business intelligence engineers, technical program managers, CMMS engineers, and maintenance development program engineers. I also lead our remote monitoring and event response team. I have been working at Amazon since separating from active duty in 2012. I support all our global data centers as a Sr. Technical Program Manager. My team owns the global maintenance program which includes standardizing power, cooling, and security scopes of work, critical spares, managing our CMMS platform, developing tooling to support the program, and investing in new technologies such as AI to continue to support the growth of AWS maintenance needs.I attended the United States Naval Academy, earning a Naval Architecture engineering degree and was accepted into the Nuclear Power program. I completed Nuclear Power School training and served on two ships (LSD and CVN) during my time in the Navy. I completed a master\'s degree in Engineering Management from Old Dominion University (ODU) and am a Certified Facility Manager (CFM) through International Facility Management Associations (IFMA).

Lead the development of preventative maintenance scopes of work for all power and cooling equipment in AWS Data Centers, covering each global region. Team is also responsible for developing critical spares standards and ensuring compliance. Actively involved and lead efforts to automate maintenance practices toward more condition-based methods.
