About Nibir Saha
I\'m a mechanical engineer with a passion for software development, scientific computing & process automation. I\'m currently involved in designing one of the largest offshore wind turbine blade for Siemens Gamesa.Through my work, I have gained extensive experience in: Development & Maintenance of in-house software tools in MATLAB for Wind Turbine Blade Structural Design, Analysis, Post-processing, Testing & Validation, Visualization, Report Generation etc. Providing Tools Support in Blade New Product Development (NPD) programs by setting up blade preprocessors, implementing new functionalities in the legacy codebase, upgrades of the existing workflows, timely bug fixes. Composite design & analysis through commercial software (ANSYS APDL) and in-house tools(MATLAB)Wind Turbine Blade Provisional Certification from 3rd Party Certification Body (TUV/DNVGL).Previously completed my Masters in Machine Design from Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati. My MTech Project focused on the development of an explicit FE solver (in C++) to study the dynamic response of FRP composite structures subjected to low velocity oblique impact.
