ABOUT NIAMH WALTERS

I’m a current undergraduate student with experience across writing, research, and project coordination, especially in educational and non-profit settings. I’m motivated by work that explores social and environmental challenges, and I enjoy roles that involve collaboration, communication, and critical thinking. My academic background and practical experience have given me a strong foundation in policy analysis, outreach, and content development. I’m particularly interested in work that addresses complex societal challenges—especially in areas such as sustainability, education, and public engagement. Key Skills: • Project Coordination – Led cross-functional initiatives with Project Power Global, supporting international teams and ensuring timely delivery. • Writing & Communication – Produced articles, press releases, and editorial content in roles including Press Officer and Staff Writer, with a focus on clarity and impact. • Education & Mentoring – Tutored politics and humanities subjects, adapting material to support diverse learning needs and fostering inclusive educational spaces. I’m currently gaining experience at the heart of UK government through the Civil Service Summer Internship Programme. I’m open to future opportunities in policy, communications, and programme delivery, especially in roles that involve interdisciplinary thinking and meaningful public impact.
