ABOUT NIAMH MCAULIFFE

Hey, I’m Niamh! A hospitality professional with over five years’ experience working across cafés, bars and high-volume venues throughout the UK. Born and bred in Birmingham, I developed my passion for hospitality in a city known for its diverse food scene, strong community, and thriving independent venues. Birmingham’s hospitality industry shaped my work ethic, resilience, and appreciation for how powerful great service can be.My journey has since taken me from the north of the UK to the hustle and bustle of London, where I’ve worked in fast-paced environments ranging from coffee service to pizza operations. Along the way, I’ve been fortunate to learn from inspiring managers and industry professionals who’ve helped shape my approach to teamwork, leadership, and delivering consistently high standards under pressure.I’m currently in my first year studying International Travel and Tourism Management at the University of Wales Trinity Saint David, where I’m broadening my understanding of the global hospitality and tourism industry. My studies focus on the future of the sector, particularly the impact of AI, innovation, and sustainability in creating more resilient and responsible travel and hospitality experiences.I’m passionate about people, places, and an industry that continues to evolve and inspire.
