Saltire Fellow 2014 2015 @Saltire Scholars Programme
The Saltire Fellowship is designed around the premise that classroom learning is not enough. It combines theory and practice, offering both classroom and experiential learning guided by the principle of Entrepreneurial Thought and Action. The Saltire Fellowship consists of 13 weeks in a dynamic learning environment at Babson College, Boston (the top-rated US Business School for Entrepreneurship) where Fellows and Faculty work together to address real world business challenges.During the fellowship, you gain hands-on experience by undertaking two executive-level projects during your time in Boston and have an opportunity to attend events at MIT and Harvard.Following the 13 weeks in Boston, you undertake a learning journey to Silicon Valley and Shanghai, where you gain a deeper understanding of each city’s unique entrepreneurial ecosystem, entrepreneurs and investors.Upon return to Scotland, you partake in a 3-month project with a high growth SME and are \'plugged in\' to networks at a senior level through Saltire Foundation networks, Babson networks, Global Scot and the Boston and Scottish Entrepreneurial Eco-system.
