About Niall Thompson

A best-in-class digital collaborator and innovation-led creative producer — I have conceived, realized and elevated immersive, experiential projects for over a decade. Since co-founding dandelion + burdock in 2005, I have worked with a number of global lifestyle brands, entertainment franchises and culture content driven partners. Delivering strategy, design and production we have realized several hundred immersive theatre and narrative driven experiences. Day to day I lead, inspire and manage a global team of creatives, producers, software developers and event coordinators both full-time & freelance. I’ve also a worldwide network of talented and trusted hardware vendors and production partners who deliver record breaking work. Since 2016 I’ve also been the lead designer, product manager and co-founder of Previz, a collaborative software tool - created to previsualize content in experiential environments. The award winning software is used by event professionals globally. In 2020 Previz was acquired by Disguise. Driven by the accelerated demand for remote collaboration and cloud-based solutions for creatives and technical teams to share their vision with project owners, this acquisition solidifies disguise\'s position as the globally recognised, standard solution for end-to-end production. Following the acquisition I joined the Product team at Disguise to lead the Cloud Solution launching the very first end-to-end cloud collaboration solution dedicated to the media and entertainment industry.
