Leading the strategic development and execution of Blend\'s first industry vertical, focusing on helping the energy sector get real impact from AI and data-driven solutions. As the founding leader of our Energy practice, I am responsible for- Principal \"translator\" between data professionals and energy clients. Helping clients understand how to do data right, and helping data professionals understand the energy industry\'s challenges, structures, priorities and idiosyncrasies- Designing and implementing the complete vertical strategy, ensuring alignment with Blend\'s mission to help companies \"do data and AI right\" while shaping the broader organisational direction.\"Writing the playbook\" for how Blend should approach verticalisation- Practically delivering exponential business growth (>100% YoY) through outstanding delivery, strategic client acquisition, partnership development, and solution design- Building and leading a high-performing team through strategic hiring, mentorship, and operational excellence- Establishing key technology and subject matter expertise partnerships to enhance our solution capabilities and breadth- Developing and refining our solution portfolio to ensure market fit, including the creation of comprehensive demo and use-case libraries.Ensuring delivery excellence across all energy vertical engagements, ensuring exceptional client outcomes and satisfaction- Leading the end-to-end business development process, from opportunity identification through proposal development and contract negotiation.
