ABOUT NIALL DEVLIN
I\'m a Machine Learning Engineer at Synthesized, and was a physicist in a previous life. I\'m focussed on developing solutions to empower businesses to overcome their data access challenges through the use of generative AI. At Synthesized, we solved the traditional problem that every company faces, giving users access to production quality data in a secure way for use in non-production environments. I did my PhD at the University of Cambridge, focussing on a new class of materials known as topological insulators and their use in quantum information processing and low power electronics. My PhD gave me an opportunity to work across a wide variety of physics, including experimental, theoretical and computational investigations. I\'m originally from Belfast and have recently made the move from Cambridge to London. I\'ve always loved running, but have recently taken up climbing 🧗 and am always keen to try pretty much any sport. I\'m pretty obsessed with football as well, so when I\'m not at work you can usually find me pouring over data and stats from the premier league.
